Greetings! My name is Shane Shellenbarger and these are the things which strike my fancy. Areas of expertise and adventure designed to augment our existence.
This is from comedian/songwriter Rob Paravonian, the "Pachelbel's Rant" guy. It's a song for the over-sharers, the people who can't use social networking sites in moderation, and one of the reasons I don't use instant messaging. "I Just Want To Hear Less From You" is available on his new CD "Songs From The Second Floor."

As we approach the end of the year, the common thing to do is to look back at natural disasters, political events, and entertainment events that have shaped the futures of people across the globe. Without a doubt, Top 10 Lists and The-Year-In-Review articles and television shows will be popping up in about a week. Until then, I want you to turn you attendtion to How It Should Have Ended , a site in which a crew of talented people have animated their concerns and ideas on how movies should have ended.
Go here to know more about the people who worked so hard to share their humor.
You may remember back in March when I combined two pieces, one a gif animation and the other the song "Powerhouse" which played in many Looney Tunes cartoons, and together they became the Multi-tasking Mind, also known as a Rube Goldberg Machine.
If you don't know who Rube Goldberg was you might want to go to his Wikipedia entry or to this site dedicated to Rube Goldberg and his work.
This two minute Honda ad is a fine example of the essance of the Rube Goldberg device, a complex machine designed to do a simple task. Enjoy.
Now that you've seen the original, here's a spoof. Enjoy.
